LCF concludes Lasustech on her knees program

Lasustech Christian Fellowship concluded the annual 3-day lasustech on her kneels revival program yesterday at the school podium.

The event tagged “In the name of Jesus “ began on Wednesday the  22nd and ended on Friday the 24th of march  2023, featuring salvation, revival, healing, and breakthrough.

The program was designed to bring the body of Christ together as various men of God were present at the event.

The vice chancellor of the university, professor Olumuyiwa Omotola Odusanya also made a surprise visit to the event and encouraged the student to be a good representatives of God and aspire to do great things.

“Work on your spirituality, be at the top of your classes, and be a good representative of God’s ministry,” he said.

He also uses the platform to clear the speculations on direct entry.

“The nd2 students after your industrial training should come back and gain entry into the 200 level”.

Speaking to Pastor Omoobowoje oluwaseuyi Daniel, the central president of LCF on the benefits of the program he said “ the program brings the body of Christ together, Bringing oneness, fosters unity and with unity, there is advancement in  God’s kingdom”.

“The theme is the name of Jesus and from the book of phillipean chapter 2vs 9 -10, it is to pray for the school, staff, management, nonteaching staff, Nigeria at large,” said the president.

Pastor Popoola Damilola Ayobami, the president of the joint Christian campus fellowship (JCCF),  also said the program is about committing life to Christ and a platform for youth pastors to develop themselves.

“It is a program combining all the Christian body in the school, as a youth, we are meant to be learning from God, we possess the strength, and capacity to learn from God”.

“I have been expressing the revival, men are committing their life to Christ, to start a new relationship, men of God to bless us and a platform for youth to develop themselves.” Said the  JCCF President.

JCCF secretary Umoke Jeremiah, also believes the program is designed for the coming together of believers to bring unity and unity makes Jesus be glorified.

“The essence is to unify every campus fellowship in Lasustech, the lord has been reviving people and the bible says when two or more are gathered in his name, there he is.” Said, Pastor  Jeremiah.

Adediran Eniola, an hnd3 student from business administration also expressed her satisfaction and the impact of the program “ The program help me know the name power of Jesus and the impact he can have over my life”  said Eniola.

Ayanleye Boluwarife a final year student from the department of SLT, said “The Programme is a wonderful one, helpful to all students and call onto God”.

Temitope, an ND2  student from Mass communication also said  “The program is power packed, and there is the presence of God, starting from the first day, till the last day and God has been faithful to everyone.”

Oyeniyi oliyide Mass communication HND2 said “ she felt the impact of God.

FEDSA-LASUSTECH Assembly Suspends President for One Week Over Misconduct

Habeeb Ibrahim  The It’s Federation of Epe Division Student Divisional Representative Council (FEDSA-DRC) of Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) has suspended its president, Obadina Habeeb, for one week following alleged misconduct during a parliamentary session. The decision was made during the second physical sitting of the assembly, held on Wednesday, 29th of January, 2025. The suspension, effective immediately, was initially proposed for two weeks by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Edu Shaffi Oladehinde, and seconded by the Chief Press Secretary, Hon. Hassan Taiwo Bisiriyu.  However, Hon. Adelaja Azanat opposed the motion, advocating for a lighter punishment, which included a one-week suspension along with an apology letter.
