The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) confirmed the development on Friday, with many students across the country sharing screenshots of credit alerts on X. In a statement, NANS National President Akinteye Babatunde welcomed the payments and assured students that all outstanding backlogs would be settled. “The payment of June and July NELFUND upkeep allowances has officially commenced. Truck drivers must take greater responsibility whenever they are transporting heavy loads. The development was disclosed in an official memorandum issued by the Office of the Registrar and signed by the Registrar, Mr. David Semawon Ogungbe. The memorandum informed members of staff that the university has begun full implementation of the Revised Tax Law in line with statutory requirements governing public institutions.
