By Irikefe Oghenetega Victor Somoye Muiz Adeola, a 400-level student of the Department of Civil and Construction Engineering at Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), has been named the institution’s Best Engineering Student and awarded the H.O.B. Lawal Foundation Scholarship. Adeola, who has a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.73 out of 5.0, received a scholarship cheque of ₦120,000 and was also recognised as the Best Overall Student in his department. The award was presented on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at the OLAC Event Centre, RAONI Bus Stop, Ibeshe Road, Ikorodu, Lagos. The event was organised by the Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers (NICE), Lagos State Chapter, in partnership with the H.O.B. Lawal Foundation.
