Breaking: LASUSTECH increases school fees again

Safiu Kehinde

Lagos State University of Science Technology (LASUSTECH) has again increased school fees from 27, 500 Naira to 45,000 Naira without prior notice, three weeks after initial reduction.

As shown on the school’s portal, the school fees suddenly skyrocketed to 45,000 Naira- an amount confirmed by HND2 students across different faculties earlier this morning. Students who had paid the initial amount saw a 17,500 Naira outstanding on their portal while those who are yet to pay had the new amount uploaded on their portal.

The increment is, however, yet to be confirmed by the Student Union Government as at the time of filing this report and there is no official statement confirming the development from the school management.

Meanwhile, the reduction in third-party as promised by the school management is yet to be effected on the school portal.
