NAOSS Engage In Keep 'Lasustech Clean Exercise'

In a  bid to promote good hygiene at Lasustech, the National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS) has initiated the "Keep Lasustech Clean" program. 

This effort aims to both encourage cleanliness among students and staff and celebrate the institution's cultural heritage.

Members of NAOSS gathered at the SM & BS faculty, wearing white shirts and jeans as their dress code. 


Dr. Abiola Lawal, the association's staff adviser and Head of the Department of Banking and Finance, participated in this initiative, emphasizing the importance of representing their state proudly.


The operation involved NAOSS members cleaning various areas of the school, including the College of Applied Social Science (CASS), College Of Engineering, College of Environmental, and College of Agriculture. 

Comrade Okulaja Kehinde, the Aare of the Association, expressed appreciation for members who supported and participated in the cleaning exercise.





Com. Lawal Yusuf Olakunle, NAOSS Vice-president, stated that the initiative aimed to foster unity and progress within the association and show gratitude to the school's cleaners. 

He emphasized the importance of acknowledging the hard work of these cleaners, who strive to maintain a conducive environment for students.



Comrade Olanipekun Damilare Victor, the financial secretary of NAOSS, mentioned that the program aimed to broadcast the organization's values through humility and attract the attention of students at the institution. 

He also praised Dr. Lawal for his consistent support and involvement in the initiative.

NAOSS embarked on the "Keep Lasustech Clean" program to promote hygiene, unity, and appreciation for the cleaners of Lasustech, with members actively participating in cleaning various parts of the institution.

Students Barred from LASUSTECH First Gate Over Safety Concerns

The restriction led to confusion among students, who were subsequently directed by security personnel to use the Second Gate for entry into the campus. Speaking on the development, security officials disclosed that the action followed an incident that occurred around 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, when a tension wire was reportedly cut from a pole and fell directly at the entrance of First Gate.
