The Department of Mass Communication at Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) has extended a warm welcome to all students for the 2024/2025 academic session, with special congratulations to the newly admitted students.

In an address from the Head of the Department, Dr. Steven Anu' Adesemoye, new students were applauded for joining what he described as “the biggest and most celebrated academic family in LASUSTECH.”

Returning students were greeted with hopes that their break was refreshing and that they had valuable time with family.

Students who undertook Media Attachment programs were particularly acknowledged, as the department looks forward to seeing how their hands-on industry experience will enhance their classroom contributions.

Dr. Adesemoye highlighted the department’s commitment to preparing students for evolving job opportunities within the media field.

He emphasized that LASUSTECH’s certification is rooted in both “Character and Learning,” urging students to maintain high standards in their academic and personal development.

Students were advised to set clear goals, maintain effective study routines, attend mentorship sessions, and keep up with departmental news.
