Tributes On The Life And Times Of Dipeolu Sodiq

 Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH) elites of Mass Communication department student came together to pay tributes to the life and times of late Dipeolu Sodiq, a beloved Past HND student.

 The event, organized by the elites of the Department of Mass Communication, student, was a solemn and heartfelt gathering that showcased the strength and unity among the students.


One of Dipeolu Sodiq's friends, Amoo, shared heartfelt sentiments about him, emphasizing how he was loved by all. It was evident that Dipeolu Sodiq had made a significant impact on those around him. 

"I got an emergency call, at work that should come over, it was when i got to the hospital I found out that my brother is dead.It was very painful,i cried my eyes out but at the end of the day i realised that we came from Allah and we shall return to him.I pray God almighty forgive all his sins and make the way to Al-Jannah peaceful for him, may almighty Allah comfort the parents, may almighty Allah make them happy"these were the words of Dipeolu Ibrahim(Immediate senior brother of the deceased).

It served as a reminder of the strength and resilience of the elites during times of grief. 

The event was organized by the late Dipeolu's class mates of the 2020/2023 set of the department of Mass Communication which showcased the power of unity,love and support among them.

Present at the occasion were the representative of Mass Communication department, Mr. Ibrahim Fatoyinbo and Mr. Hassan Nurudeen.

Students Barred from LASUSTECH First Gate Over Safety Concerns

The restriction led to confusion among students, who were subsequently directed by security personnel to use the Second Gate for entry into the campus. Speaking on the development, security officials disclosed that the action followed an incident that occurred around 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, when a tension wire was reportedly cut from a pole and fell directly at the entrance of First Gate. LASUSTECH Announces February 13, 2027, for Maiden Convocation

By Adetoyinbo Berachah The Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) has announced February 13, 2027, as the date for its maiden convocation. The announcement was made by the Director of Student Affairs (DSA), Dr. Ademola Aderogba, during the first engagement meeting of the 2025/2026 academic session. The meeting featured the introduction of Heads of Class (HOCs) and representatives from various departments. Dr. Aderogba addressed issues relating to the academic session and outlined expectations for students. He presented an overview of academic results across colleges and departments, noting variations in performance. Students were advised to ensure lecturers are invited for scheduled lectures.
