LASEPA Advises Lagos Residents Of Hazardous Air

Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA), has revealed that the Air Quality in some areas of Lagos State is hazardous  and unhealthy.

An index released by LASEPA over the weekend, shows that areas across Lagos like Ojo, Shomolu, Ketu and Ikorodu environments are very damaging and harmful.

LASEPA has thereby admonished everyone to be careful and advised parents, careers and child minders to be more involved in the well-being of children and adults as well.

According to LASEPA, some precautions are to be made in order to prevent any form of disease/ailment.

These precautions include: Using of nose mask when going out, dressing in layers to prevent cold, staying hydrated, fruits and vegetables intake to boost immunity, well ventilated rooms and offices and to also pay attention to health, body changes and to seek prompt medical attention when necessary.

LASEPA, however encouraged the citizens to adhere to the above precautions following the quote 'Prevention is better than cure' , and is also wishing everyone a healthy and wealthy life.
