No Public Holiday On June 12 this year - President Buhari debunks rumours






Earlier this week, it was reported on the social media space that President Buhari has declared June 12 as the new democracy day to honour late MKO Abiola who was the acclaimed winner of the 1993 presidential election.


A lot of reactions have trailed this development as several citizens wondered if another holiday will be declared on June 12 to celebrate Democracy day, since  May 29 was duly observed.

The President, Muhammadu Buhari has however broken silence over the issue amidst rumours, that there won't be any holiday again for democracy day, neither will there be any other holiday for the day until future years.

It would be recalled that Several commendations and backlash greeted the new democracy day from leaders, Citizens, Senior advocate.
