Laspotech Press Club Inaugurates New Executives By Habeeb Irewole  The Lagos State Polytechnic Press Club has inaugurated its new executives, who will oversee the affairs of the press club.  The new executives were inaugurated in a ceremony held at the LASUSTECH newsroom, Mass Communication Department, Ikorodu campus.  The event aimed to uphold the association's history and traditions. Mr. Samuel Ogunsanya, the staff patron and advisor of the association, counselled the new executives to be dedicated, recognizing the responsibility they hold in ensuring the club's vitality. Former President,  Nurudeen Adebayo, offered advice to the incoming executives, emphasizing the importance of diligence, commitment, and serving the club with dignity.  He encouraged them to be thorough reporters, seeking news from various aspects of student life to enhance engagement on their blog. Justice For Mohbad : Laspotech Students Protest  By Nurudeen Adebayo and Agbaogun Sodiq Emotions ran high as  Students of Lagos State polytechnic took to the streets   in ikorodu to demand justice for the death of  musician,   Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.   The students  converged at the school's first gate and rallied to the palace of Ayangburen of Ikorodu, carrying  placards with inscriptions such as"Who off light",  “Say No to Marlian Music”, “Justice for Mohbad”. In a recent event held at the AG 104 Mass Comm lecture hall in LASUSTECH Ikorodu saw the transition of leadership from the outgoing HND2 MCCF members, who were soon to graduate. The program commenced with an opening prayer led by the HND2 MCCF Outgoing Choir and the MCCF Prayer leader. NAOSS Engage In Keep 'Lasustech Clean Exercise' By Nurudeen Adebayo and Habeeb Ibrahim In a  bid to promote good hygiene at Lasustech, the National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS) has initiated the "Keep Lasustech Clean" program.  This effort aims to both encourage cleanliness among students and staff and celebrate the institution's cultural heritage. Members of NAOSS gathered at the SM & BS faculty, wearing white shirts and jeans as their dress code.  Dr. Abiola Lawal, the association's staff adviser and Head of the Department of Banking and Finance, participated in this initiative, emphasizing the importance of representing their state proudly.
