After Years Of Neglect, FG Approves N20billion For Rehabilitation Of Ikorodu-Sagamu Road







Residents, motorists and other commuters who ply the decrepit Ikorodu – Sagamu road have a reason to heave a sigh of relief  as the federal government approves a sum of twenty billion naira for rehabilitation Of the road which has claimed lot of innocent lives, served as nightmares for motorists and other road users over the years and serving as basis for daily discussion on social media.
The good news flew into the air on Wednesday march 28,2018  after the Federal executive council meeting held at Abuja that the road has gotten approval of the Federal government which saw many lagosians who ply the road jubilating as they hope to forget the ugly memories which the road has left them with. 

It would be recalled that residents and commuters alike have decried the sorry state of Ikorodu sagamu road which is used by thousands of individuals who ply the route on daily basis. 




in this regards, series of letters have been written and lots of protests have been staged by different groups in order to get the attention of the Federal government, but this time their voice has been finally heard.


However, residents and commuters on this road would be looking forward to an expeditious commencement of the rehabilitation works so as to ease the untold daily hardship they have to endure while making use of the roads.

Students Barred from LASUSTECH First Gate Over Safety Concerns

The restriction led to confusion among students, who were subsequently directed by security personnel to use the Second Gate for entry into the campus. Speaking on the development, security officials disclosed that the action followed an incident that occurred around 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, when a tension wire was reportedly cut from a pole and fell directly at the entrance of First Gate. LASUSTECH Announces February 13, 2027, for Maiden Convocation

The announcement was made by the Director of Student Affairs (DSA), Dr. Ademola Aderogba, during the first engagement meeting of the 2025/2026 academic session. The meeting featured the introduction of Heads of Class (HOCs) and representatives from various departments. Dr. Aderogba addressed issues relating to the academic session and outlined expectations for students.
