LASUSTECH Begins 2025/2026 Post-UTME Screening, Increases Form Fee to ₦10,000


The Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), Ikorodu, has announced the commencement of its online admission screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session, with a new application fee of ₦10,000.

According to a statement signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Mr. David Semawon Ogungbe, the screening exercise is open to both Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry candidates who selected LASUSTECH as their first choice institution.

The online screening portal opened on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, and will close on Sunday, August 31, 2025.

To be eligible, UTME candidates must have scored a minimum of 195 and obtained credit-level passes in relevant O’Level subjects in not more than two sittings. Direct Entry candidates must have obtained a JAMB Direct Entry Form and selected LASUSTECH as their first choice.

Only candidates of Lagos State origin who have completed the State of Origin Verification Committee (SOVC) screening will be considered.

All applicants are expected to pay a non-refundable screening fee of ₦10,000 via the university’s official admission portal: https://admission.lasustech.edu.ng. Candidates are also advised to visit the application requirements page at https://requirement.lasustech.edu.ng.

The university emphasized that candidates are not required to be physically present on campus for the exercise and must upload their O’Level results on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

This year’s screening fee marks a significant increase from the previous ₦2,000 charged in the last admission cycle.

FEDSA-LASUSTECH Assembly Suspends President for One Week Over Misconduct

Habeeb Ibrahim  The It’s Federation of Epe Division Student Divisional Representative Council (FEDSA-DRC) of Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) has suspended its president, Obadina Habeeb, for one week following alleged misconduct during a parliamentary session. The decision was made during the second physical sitting of the assembly, held on Wednesday, 29th of January, 2025.
