Held at the 700-seater Auditorium on the Ikorodu Campus, the seminar brought together various sections and dignitaries to guide students on effectively utilizing their certificates in conjunction with the knowledge and skills they've acquired during their academic journey.

Dr. Abiola Lawal, a lecturer and chairman of FAAB Hotel, shared his insights on attaining personal success.

He emphasized that while working as an employee can offer comfort, true wealth is derived from running one's own business. Abiola highlighted two main categories of business: providing services and offering products.

He delved into achieving financial autonomy through personal savings and gifts, while also addressing challenges such as family, fear of death, and other psychological barriers to starting a business.

During the Q&A segment, Miss Mariam, the moderator, posed the question, "What differentiates financial freedom from financial peace?"

Responding to this, Mr. Samuel Olaoluwa Olasehinde, a multi-talented individual in acting and law, characterized financial peace as being content with affording needs, whereas financial freedom equated to affording desires.

Akeula Rilwan Omogbolahan, CEO of Akeula Trendy, an influencer, equated financial peace with timely affordability of necessities, while financial freedom meant indulging in personal wants, citing the example of admiring a Lexus 350.

Miss Abati Oluwatoyosi conveyed that financial peace is achieved when one becomes independent and can make financial decisions without relying on family or friends for funds. Mrs. Motun emphasized that financial peace hinges on personal contentment and discerning between needs and wants.

Mr. Olatunde, CEO of Ofloekleens, associated financial peace with being self-sufficient and prepared for any financial situation.

Responding to the question of whether school certificates ensure financial peace, Mr. Idowu Emmanuel of TeamCamp claimed that certificates provide a 50% chance of achieving financial freedom, noting the potential opportunities they bring. Mr. Giwa Ibrahim, CEO of Realistic Projects, stressed the importance of applying knowledge for financial freedom, mentioning that his own success relied on knowledge application, rather than the certificate itself.

Mrs. Damilola, CEO of Ever Events, credited her structured approach and literacy in utilizing her certificate to achieve financial peace.

Chief Amb. Raji Olanrewaju, Registrar of Estam University Benin Republic, praised the seminar's concise, educational, and insightful approach, urging students to build networks and trust in their abilities. Samuel Olaoluwa Olasehinde emphasized the importance of ongoing learning beyond school, noting that life truly begins upon leaving the academic environment.
