In a message resonating with gratitude, Professor Olumuyiwa Omotola Odusanya, the Vice Chancellor of  Lagos State University Of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH)  expressed heartfelt appreciation to the entire university community as they marked the last working day of the year today.


Reflecting on the year's accomplishments, the Vice Chancellor credited the success to the unwavering support, understanding, and cooperation of all members. 


He acknowledged the importance of each individual within the university, emphasizing that everyone played a vital role in the institution's achievements.


Special recognition was extended to Professor Kola Ojikutu, the  Chairman of the Council, and other council members. The Vice Chancellor also expressed gratitude to the Principal Officers, Professors, Head of Departments, members of the Senate, Directors, and Heads of Units/Departments for their significant contributions.


The year, marked by milestones such as admitting a pioneer set of students, a successful matriculation ceremony, smooth examination processes, timely approval of results, sponsorship to conferences, and various in-house and external training programs, was hailed as a collective effort.


Professor Odusanya commended the unity and teamwork that prevailed within the university community, resulting in the sustenance of industrial peace throughout the year. Encouraging everyone to maintain the momentum, he urged the community to set ambitious plans for 2024.


In closing, the Vice Chancellor extended warm wishes for a happy and prosperous 2024 to all members of the university, expressing gratitude and anticipation for the continued success of the institution under their collective efforts.
