The webinar, hosted via Google Meet, was organized by Hon. Hassan Taiwo Bisiriyu, Chief Press Secretary of FEDSA LASUSTECH DRC. He said the aim was to enlighten student leaders on how to thrive in unionism without neglecting their academic performance. “I want students who are interested in unionism to learn how it works and how to properly balance it with their studies,” Hon. Uboh-Ekong Treasure Bisiriyu Hassan Taiwo, The Chief Press Secretary of the Federation of Epe Division Students Association (FEDSA) at LASUSTECH, hosted a webinar aimed at educating students on how to balance academic responsibilities with unionism. “We’ve Paid for Your Medical Treatments” – LASUSTECH VC Urges Students to Use Health Insurance  By Ademuyiwa   Balikis, Odelusi Abraham The Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), Professor Olumuyiwa Odusanya, has urged students to take advantage of the Ilera Eko Health Insurance Scheme, saying the university pays an annual premium on their behalf to ensure access to medical care. Professor Odusanya made this known on Thursday during a sensitization program on the Ilera Eko initiative, organized by the Lagos State Health Management Agency (LASHMA) at the LASUSTECH campus in Ikorodu. "Prevention is better, faster, more effective, and cheaper than cure," he said. "Each year, we pay a premium for students to access medical care at accredited healthcare providers.
