Every concerned students were all dressed in black and they started the walk from the Accounting department to the school gate and then ended at the school field for prayers. The head of class of Accounting department Ogunniyi Jubril said a few words about the deceased and prayed, before inviting a pastor to pray the Christian way and a clergy to pray the Muslim way. The students were also advised to be very careful and watchful when on the roads they ply daily.   Tragedy Strikes LASUSTECH Isolo campus as fatal Accident Claims Two Students' Lives By Agbaogun Sodiq, Ibrahim Habeeb, Odeyemi Ibukun, Salami Fathia and Abdulrasak Habibat A horrific accident unfolded at the Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) in Isolo when an unidentified truck collided with three victims along Isolo's main road.  The victims included Akinola Mariam and Nwapa Akunna, both 100-level students of Accounting, and one Save Our Soul (SOS) security personnel. According to eyewitness accounts, the accident occurred as a result of a truck driver's collision with a tanker truck, leading to a loss of control that tragically claimed the lives of the victims who were on their way to their hostel.  The Vice Chancellor, Prof Olumuyiwa Omotola Odusanya, arrived at the accident scene shortly after the incident and assured students that a thorough investigation would be conducted to identify the truck's owner. The summit aimed to bring together leaders, thinkers, innovators, stakeholders, and students to promote excellence in the future development of Ikorodu. Its primary goal was to create a roadmap for the transformation of Ikorodu into a thriving hub of innovation, culture, and opportunity.
