Our Reporters The Institute of Operational Research and Management Science of Nigeria (IORMS), in collaboration with the department of Mathematical Sciences and the department of Computer Science, Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), held a seminar and workshop training at the LASUSTECH campus. The event took place at a 500-seater auditorium and witnessed the presence of esteemed personnel, including the Institution’s Public Relation Officer, Dr. Kuye, and Director of Student Affairs, Dr. Aderogba, among other lecturers. The theme of the program was "Operational Research: Role, Methodology, Relationship With Other Disciplines, and Benefits," as stated by Dr. Adewoye during his speech.   LASPOSUG Championship Cup to commence August 2nd By Nurudeen Adebayo The Lagos State Polytechnic Student Union Champions Cup is set to begin on August 2, 2023, at the school's main field. The annual event is the most highly anticipated polytechnic competition, featuring only men's football matches. This year's tournament will consist of 18 outfield players each from the School of Technology, School of Communication and Liberal Studies, School of Pure and Applied Science, School of Engineering, School of Environmental Studies, School of Agriculture, School of Business and Management Studies, and players from Isolo Campus. In a draw that will take place later this month, each faculty will randomly be grouped into a plot of four teams.
