Jahriat Aminu The Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) held a mentorship programme for its female students on Wednesday at the 500-seater auditorium, College of Agriculture. The event was hosted by Professor Olubunmi Temilade Abebi, Chairperson of the Sexual Harassment Committee and a lecturer in the College of Agriculture, alongside nine other lecturers, including Mrs. Aribigbe, Head of the Mathematics Department, and Dr. (Mrs.) Olubiyi Olatokunbo, Deputy Registrar, Student Affairs Unit. In her opening remarks, Professor Abebi welcomed the students and introduced the objectives of the programme, stating, "We are here to mentor you academically, spiritually, and in all aspects of life." During an interactive session, Mrs. Aribigbe engaged the students on the concept of mentorship and shared her personal experiences, encouraging them to speak up against sexual harassment.
